' If The Music Department here at Upper Dublin has been quite active this year. Our marching band has been represented in three parades and numerous football games. Our concert band is devoted to the finer types of music. It is featured during our annual music presentations, the Christmas Program, the Spring Music Festival, and Commencement Exercises. Also at these functions we are proud to present our tour choral groups, the iunior and senior choruses, the boys' octet, and the girls' sextet. The students of Upper Dublin High School are very proud of their governing body, the Student Council. This year the Student Council was div- ided into a senior section and a iunior section for governmental procedures. The Student Council sponsors numerous func- tions vvithin the school. One of these functions is the canteen dances held after basketball games. The Council also manages the school store where candy and school supplies may be purchased. A third function of the Student Council is the backing of the annual United Fund Drive. In addition, each year the Student Council sponsors the football dance and the crowning of the football queen. In November of 1955, Upper Dublin played host to the Annual Tri-County Con- ference. Canteen Tri-County Conference School Store
