Myers, D. isohsngof, L. Pmologo, c. Gordon, J. Paul, feated season, was presented to the team co- ggagh, captains, Sara Case and Sannie Gifford, at a special assembly in early December. One of the main reasons the girls were so successful, was because of the opportunity they had when they attended the Agnes Irwin Hockey Day Camp, a week before season started. At the camp, the girls learned fundamentals, rules, skms and actual play. This proved to be an asset as the team showed great skill and know-how in the championship game against Lower Moreland. The game was played at Lower Moreland's field, with every girl wanting to play their best and win the championship for their deserving coach, Miss Joan Paul. The score of the winning game was one to nothing. The League competition was composed of three teams, Lower Moreland, Palisades, and Southern Lehigh. Each team was played twice, which made up a six game season. l Another triumph of the Upper Dublin Hockey team, was the game with Springfield at the Upper Dublin field. The score of the game was Springfield two, Upper Dublin three. The coach and girls were really happy about winning this game, because last year Spring- field had scored eight points to Upper Dublin's one. This goes to show how the Car- dinalettes have improved in one season.

Kneeling: D. Robins, Captain, P. M. Jones, Coach. Standing: M. Sisak, Mgr., W. Burnett, R. Field, A. Elton, J. Banes, R. Cameron, O. Fad, L. Mogg, M. Magyar, Mgr. Our basketball team has steadily improved under the direction of Mr. Paul M. Jones. Undefeatecl in the first four games, we met Springfield who gave us our first taste of defeat. Since then all other teams were easily beaten, but our bitter rival Jenkintown wiho snapped our winning streaks twice. Ending the season in second place in the Tri-County League, they en- tered the PIAA class B district finals meeting Hat- boro. Mr. Cunningham's J. V. team also had a winning season. Composed mostly of sophomores, they gained much experience that will contribute to future teams. Mr. Cunningham, coach, D. Matthews, G. Miller, J. Johnson, F. Roberts, W. Wolf, H. Barnes, J. Ottinger, W. Wolf, J. Langbien, D. Biecleman, F. Cairo, B. Robertson, D. Paton.
