.S M55 WVR y -40 -v '3,. l'llS is the story of college life. Look at it carefully, then tuck it away so that some day posterity may know that when Grandma was Betty Coed, Freshmen football play- ers and other assorted males had crew cuts . . . the band started playing swing . . . there were formal dances . . . in- formal dances . . . and just plain ole dances . . . girls wore knee-high socks everywhere except at T. U., where they were taboo . . . female Vocal- ists constantly gaye forth from Tyrrell l-lall . . . the campus turned out en masse for foot- ball games, softball games, intra-mural games . . . students loitered on the campus in fair weather, then migrated to the Union when winter came . . . the Engineers broke down and gave two dances . . . the Work- shop, like Topsy, just growed . . . and lessons went on and on and on and on.
