Before coming here he had grad- uated from Ohio State University with a B.S. de- gree, and had worked with the Ohio Experiment Station, and at the Bureau of Soils at Washington, D. C. He was grad- uated from DePauw University, and before coming to New Hampshire he received an M.S. degree from Ohio State University. He was made professor of Zoology here in 1910.
