Pratt and Canon, Leader and As- sistant. Amand Palmer, Business Manoger of Purple finances. m With Purple Pep, Pratt and Canon kept in step and the whole Purple crew chimed in. They topped off a swingy pep song and a slow song done in the Fred Waring style with an impersonation of The Eve of St. John and stunt that gave the Golds many a quake and qualm, and made a decision against the Purples almost impossible. The stunt included no lesser lights than Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin— and the Devil who showed us how the world got in the fix it ' s in but how the problems were solved by a visit from President Roosevelt of the U.
