RTHEAST Photo by Evie Pace The Northeast Residential Area is the oldest residential area on campus and is comprised of nine dormitories. The halls have been described as quiet . One of the major advantages to living in Northeast is its close proximity to the main part of campus as well as to Worcester Dining Commons and Totman Physical Education Building. In the residential area there are study lounges, recreation spaces, two computer terminals, the Northeast Women's Center, and the Northeast Education Programming Commit- tee. The Quad is the center of social activity for Northeast. Almost any type of outdoor activity can be found there. Football, softball, frisbee as well as sunbathing and studying are popular on sunny days. For any student attending the New Student Program, the Quad brings back many fond memories.
