GRADUATE STUDY The University's Graduate School offers programs of study which lead to the de- grees of Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Education, and Doctor of Phi- losophy. The Ph.D degree is now offered in the fields of American history, chemis- try, and psychology. The Certificate of Advanced Study is awarded for the com- pletion of thirty hours beyond the require- ments for the Master of Education degree. In connection with the high degree of interest in forestry in Maine, the college offers a five year program in Pulp and Paper.
