The hardest part of College life is the trip to the pay window. THE MAINE HELLO . . . Dances every week SOME PEOPLE THINK THE MAINE HELLO IS SOMETHING SHOWERED ON THE FRESHMEN DURING THE FIRST FEW WEEKS OF THE FALL SEMESTER . . . THEN FORGOTTEN. Perhaps this is the right impression if one regards the Hello as merely a greeting tossed forth while changing classes, in the den, or at a dance. However, the Maine Hello can be more favorably interpreted as the closeness which exists at Maine. Despite the fact that the population of the student body is growing in leaps and bounds, the small-college atmosphere is still here . . . 10
