Members in the Univer- sity group are chosen from among those en- rolled in the R.O.T.C. Advanced Course. All new members are elected. In December, the Scabbard and Blade pre- sented the annual Military Ball. At the Ball, Colonel Leslie Staub presented to Miss Ruth Ellingwood the honorary commission of Lieu- tenant-colonel.
