SEALEY, Jr. Executive Secretary, General Alumni Association Librarian, Mr. Ibbotson, so Freddie deemed it wise to search for employment in other fields. He was told by Assistant to the President Charles Crossland that he might be able to obtain a similar job in about three years in the Student Union Building. A week later, after being informed b the Assistant to the Dean of Men, Bob Worrick, that there were certain rules governing women students, Freddie be- gan to think of avoiding the rules via matrimony. Having learned through re- leases from Mr. Keyo ' s Publicity Office that housing for married students was rather scarce, Freddie determined to visit Mr. Thomas, the Housing Director. He was informed that there would be a ood ( hancc that he might be able to rent one room in South Apartments by the spring term of his senior year. Remembering that his father was an alumnus, Freddie went to see Mr. Scaley, Miunni Secretary, to find out if liis status as a son f)f a graduate woidd enhance his ([iiest for an apartment. Mr. Sealcy lis- tened sympathetically, wished he could Ije of assistance to an old grad ' s son but, since he was diligently searching for a suitaljlc home himscH. he could oiler 11) help to Freddie.
