It serves to execute the purposes and ideals of the association l alert atten- tion to the needs and desires i l its mem- bers. The purpose l W.S.GA is to encour- age active cooperation among the women of the Universit) in self-government, and to promote high standards 1 honor and integrity in all matters ol personal con- duct. The annual Student-Faculty Tea and the arrangement of assembly programs for women students serve as permanent functions of the council. To fit the needs of this present year, the W ' .S.G.A. spon- sored the Defense Coordinating Council. The annual tea this year was given in honor of the Defense Council. In addi- tion, the committee on Student-Faculty relations has become an important aspic i of the program.
