The lab is often prolonged, and quite willingly, b a stimulating pep-talk with a co-browser in the laboratory . The result ol the conversation ma be a genera] bull-session involving a dozen classmates. The knowledge gained is often more valuable than the lecture cut. Il is common to see two worried stu- dents huddled together working OVCT a darkly underlined notebook. I he find the noise ol the rowd does not bother the lasi minute (ramming fot the coming prelim. 11 in all. the bookstore is more- than a stoic selling books, il is one ol (he most informative and interesting classrooms on campus.
