Profare NEVER before during tbe twenty-three years of its history hos The Prism singled out so many colors lroin the spectrum of college activities nor have these colors been singled out in such « pronounced manner as during this past year. The honors that have been won the achievements that have been accomplished are more varied and of greater importance than ever before in our University history, and so we as Editors feel that an unusually great responsibility rests upon us to record and permeate the events of the past year in a manner worthy of and suitable to the merits. The purpose of this volume is to accurately and clearly fet fortli the happenings of the year beginning lebruary 1. 1915. and ending February 1. 1916: also to foster an admiration more strong, a respect more deep, a love more sincere for this our University and the asso- ciations that we may connect with ovir beloved Alma Mater. These two purposes, we sincerely hope, at least in some small measure have been accomplished. Many persons have been interested and have aided materially in the preparation of this volume. We cannot thank them all individ- ually, for they are too numerous, but we do wish to tjkc this occasion to thank the following few: Mr. E. J. Haskell 72. Prof. R. K. Jones 86. and Prof. G. P. Weston 96. for their kindness and will- ingness shown by preparing the articles of ” Student Life in the Past. We wish to thank the Editor-in-Chief and Business Manager of the last years PRISM Board for their advice and assistance, and all those connected with the printing and engraving of this volume.
