, ,, .. ,. Main Hall, the largest classroom building on campus, was redecorated and air conditioned last year. New or old, buildings oct importoni role MAIN HALL, recently redecorated and air conditioned, is a large class- room building in the center of the cam- pus housing the departments of foreign language, mathematics, history, geog- raphy, political science, sociology, and speech. Studios of radio station KASC- FM are located in the west wing of first floor. Special instructional equipment in the building includes a language labo- ratory, a speech laboratory, a carto- graphy laboratory, and the audio-visual aids center. Ida Waldran Auditorium seats 1500 people. Harrin Hall, recently redecorated and air conditioned, contains classrooms, lecture rooms, and faculty offices. Irby Hall houses classrooms and faculty offices plus Home Economics' Day Nursery in air-conditioned comfort HARRIN HALL, recently re- decorated, has large air conditioned lecture rooms, classrooms and space for faculty offices. IRBY HALL houses the depart- ments of English, journalism, education, psychology and the Graduate School of- fices in air conditioned comfort. Home Economics Department operates a day- nursery for three to five-year-olds in the south wing of the building.

A -rf? 11 Fffiyyfi X ffr State College of Arkansas' new sign located on the corner of Bruce and Donaghey, emphasizes the modern trends of the campus. 'Modern' is the word for SCA's new look ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, modern and SCIENCE BUILDING, recently completed air conditioned, contains the offices of the presi- dent, deans, business manager, registrar, di rectors of student services, research, public re lations, field services, and public information and air conditioned, contains large lecture rooms, instructional laboratories, research fa- cilities for the departments of nursing, biology, chemistry, and physics, and a 16 inch telescope in the new observatory. Book and non-book sources are grouped by aca- demic divisions. Subscriptions and files are maintained for general and special- ized periodicals. Physical Education building contains a gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, and physi- cal education classrooms. PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILD- ING contains a gymnasium seating 2000 spectators, an indoor swimming pool, and classroom space for physical edu- cation classes. Nearby are lighted play- ing fields, tennis courts, and Estes Field. CORDREY HALL houses the de- partments of art, business administra- tion, and the home economics complex including classrooms, kitchen, dining, living, and sewing rooms.
