Again if is my privilege to extend my greetings and best wishes to the faculty and the students at the University of Washington. I cm well aware that the physical facilities of all of our schools are inadequate and do not provide comfortable conditions for the many thousands of students, but the fact that so large a number is preparing to take part in the affairs of our state and our nation is reassuring. I can assure you that our whole state is interested in you and in your careers, and we have confidence that you will lead useful lives and that you will contribute much to the welfare of the communities in which you will cast your lot.
