I What can he said about social events? They were enjoyed by all (who went). We certainly hope so! They were organized so that everyone would have fun. For those of you who didn ' t attend or maybe don ' t remember these events (eg. Oktoberfest) here is a note on each to inform you and remind you what happened. The Engineering Car rally was held on Sunday the first day of October. The purpose was not to win by speed but by wit. If you had wit you could answer all those ridiculously obvious(?) questions. It was a perfect day for a ride and the wine and cheese party at the end. Congradulations to the top three! The Hustling Dances were revived on Fri. Sep. 21st and was carried out in the best of Skule tradition. Star was an excellent group to which everyone danced the night away. Who couldn ' t have had fun where there were lots of beer, beer, women and song.

Oktoberfest . M Need I say more? I guess I should for those with blurred memories. We went thru 75 kegs of heer, that could explain the blurs . We had a polka contest which could explain the bruises; no one knows who won. We all had fun which needn ' t be explained. By the way it was on Fri . Oct . 5th at Hart House.
