Delta Phi Epsilon The Chi chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon was active this year in philanthropic as well as social activities. DPhiE ' s held a successful Halloween party for Head Start in October and presented Sasperella, a pro- duction for children, early in November to aid the March of Dimes. In addition to community service projects, members devoted themselves to various charities, including Cystic Fibrosis. Serving as vice-president of Spooks, Debra Ann Levin led the chapter in campus spirit. In its third year since reactivation on campus, Delta Sigma Phi accepted pledges in the fall who ac- tively worked on community projects with the chap- ter. A haunted house party for orphans at Hallow- een and food for needy families at Christmas exem- plified Delta Sig ' s concern for others. The growing Eta chapter hosted a Sphinx Ball in the spring for all of Texas ' other Delta Sig chapters. Their University road-rally in the spring was the first event in Round-Up. Other social events were the Sailor ' s Ball and the Carnation Ball. Members were also active in intramural sports. 9 I H Delta Sig ' s and their dates duded up for a Li ' l Abner theme party. 218
