Williams, Austin Logan Wilson, Austin, ex-officio The University of Texas Development Board, the fund raising agency for the University, includes in its mem- bership five persons named by the Board of Regents, five appointed by the Executive Council of the Ex-Students ' Association, and two elected by and from the general faculty. The President of the University is an ex-officio member. The Board, directly responsible to the Board of Regents, seeks to promote and assist in financing a great variety of facilities which will not be provided otherwise. Among these are research projects, salary supplementation, build- ings, scholarships, fellowships, library acquisitions, museum additions, and many others. This program of enrichment is directed not only toward the Main University but toward all the branches as well. PACE 28
