Ximenes LATIN-AMERICAN CLUB was organized in 1926 under the sponsorship of Carlos E. Castaneda and Charles W. Hackett, and is the oldest Latin-American organization on the campus. The general objectives of this organization have been the fostering of better inter- American relations. The Latin-American Club has sponsored a series of educational lectu . dances, and social gatherings with the purpose of developing an atmosphere of friendship and al programs, art exhibits, films, understanding among University students.
