He took his LL.B. at Harvard and returned to teach here from 1922 to 1926. Again he returned to the University in 1940 to take his present posi- tion. Likes picture shows. WILLIAM FRANCIS GIDLEY DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF PHHRMflCY The outstanding pharmacy school of the South- west is directed by progressive Dean Gidley. Member of the American Chemical Association, American Pharmaceutical Association, and the Association of American Bacteriologists, the Dean gets away from his work by playing with optical instruments such as the Abbe Refrac- tometer. W. R. WOOLRICH DEflN OF THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Dean Woolrich has taken an active part in the nation ' s rush toward preparedness. His is the job of turning out men capable of planning and running our vital industries. He has a great interest in the Civil Aeronautics Author- ity and is an expert on air-conditioning. Page 19
