THG BOARD OF RGGGRTS The Regents of The University of Texas, who direct all matters con- cerning the University, have worked this year on a United States defense unit for the campus and a hospitalization project. Major J. R. Parten, chairman since 1939, retired ' in January and- was succeeded ' by Leslie Waggener. Governor W. Lee O ' Daniel appointed Orville Bullington of Wichita Falls and Dan J. Harrison of Houston to the Board to replace Dr. George Morgan of San flngelo and Major Parten, retired. Fred C. Branson was re-appointed. The Board which consists of nine members is now as folk?ws7 H. J. Lutcher Stark, H. H. Weinert, Dr. K. H. flynesworth, Mrs. I. D, Fair- child, Bullington, Harrison, Waggener, and Branson. Next a trip to the Regis- trar ' s Office to see if cred- its are in order this must be done before registra- tion day. The wise freshman Ed makes a visit to the Dean of Men ' s Office and gets acquainted with the deans. Page 14 Then comes the trip that all must take the one to the Auditor ' s Office to pay fees.
