Other oHicers include Phil Hatler, Ken Eichholz, Dickey Arrington, and Kenny Porter. The fraternity for music majors was sponsored by Robert Fleming, the University band director.

Sigma Alpha Iota Installed last year, the girls' professional music fraternity sponsored a Bold-Note Copyingw project to aid the blind and was actively involved in the Miss UTM Pageant. Members Barbara Baumgardner and Donna Ellis were in Who's Who. Sponsors of the organization are Harriette Fulton, Marilyn Jewett, and Barbara Jones. Dola Nowell Acree served as the chapter's president. 254

Vlwoll ul Independent Student Association With nearly 200 members, the ISA is one of the largest and most influential organizations on campus. This year the group helped in such humanitarian projects as painting a local house and collecting postage stamps as a part of an international drive to combat hunger. The ISA held a hayride, a popcorn party, a tacky party, a dinner-dance, and a spring retreatg the group also won All-Sing in 1969. Business of the organization is managed by President Earl Wright, Vice-Presidents Lee Sammons and Carol Wright, Secretary Carol Eck, Treasurer Hank Brewer, and SGA Representative James Pruitt.
