The 1970 spirit The 1970 Spirit staff, headed by Editor Rusty Farrell, was challenged by the reception of last year's Spirit, which received a Hfirst-classw rating by the Associated Collegiate Press. This year the staff brought to campus Irving Lloyd, nationally-known photographer, in an effort to record the candid Qas well as the posedj aspects of campus life. The Volette Dianne Craff and Bill Cate, co-editors, head the staH of thC UTM weekly newspaper The Volette. The paper, with Hnancial support from the student activities fund and local advertisers, is distributed free. It focuses on campus news :md aims at objective coverage of anything newsworthy. Carl H.
