Fall found more than 4200 students at UTM, about 1600 freshmen and 650 sen- iors, as the trend towards rapid growth, characteristic of the decade, con- tinued. The 1969 freshman class easily out- numbered the school's total 1961 enroll ment. Over 3000 students lived either on- campus or in town, the rest oommuted.
