THE VOLANTE REPORTS THE CAMPUS NEWS Editor, Pete Sullivan The Yolante is a weekly newspaper published every Tuesday during the school year, with the exceptions of holidays and examination periods, by the Student Association of the University of South Dakota. One must apply to the Board of Publications for a position on the Yolante staff. This is done each semester, as each semester a new staff is chosen. The Student Association is responsible for the financing of the Yolante. The subscription rate is $2.00 a semester or $3.00 a year. It must be noted that the Yolante is strictly a student publication, produced to meet the needs and interests of the student. This year the quality of the individual articles and the paper as a whole, has greatly improved to make the Yolante a fine informative paper for the University of South Dakota. Jim Marchant, Pete Sullivan, Nancy Tschetter, Angela Gunderson, Dianna Woodford and Steve James are hard at work to put out another Volante. 239
