6 KN fe yi fi: i THE lPRlElFlECCT BUARD The Prefect Board, composed of seven seniors chosen by the student body for leadership and character, is the most prominent organization of the school. The duties of the Board are many: it acts as an advisory council to the headmasters and faculty, proving a most valuable link between the masters and the boys, it acts to keep the morale and the tone of the student body on a high plane, it acts as a disciplinary board by itself or in conjunction with the Discipline Committee of the faculty, giving suggestions and opinions when requestedg and in general it acts to carry out the ideas of the student government. The present Board was successful in bringing about the demobil- ization of an anti-social body called Whisk', which seemed temporarily to threaten the even keel of the school. The Board met several times with Dr. Peters, these conferences proving very fruitful and bringing about several highly desirable reforms in the school curriculum. 'llllHIlE STUDENT CCOUNCCTJL The Student Council has charge of the Honor System. Each year, four seniors, three juniors, two sophmores, and one freshman are elected to the council to pass judgment on all violators and to decide any disputes that concern the Honor System. Each member of the school is expected to report all violations to some member of the Student Council.
