RICHARDS HALL long provided classroom and laboratory space for ihe schools oi Botany, Microbiology. and Zoology. During the depression and throughout the thirties, expan- sion was at a low ebb. The only construction of great significance was the erection of Richards Hall and Adams Hall to H11 the gap between the Library and the Armory. The decade from 1939 to 1948 saw the beginning of the hous- ing complexes. Iefferson House Cl9427g Niemann Apartments, Whitehzind Hall, Sooner City, and Wilson Center H9465 were all added.
