It aims that we, its student-citizens, should quickly find our places as happy, well-rounded citizens of the society to which we go from here. Cultural influences are of highest importance in contributing to this future well-being toward which we aim. Our lJiu ' ersity offers us a continuous choice of the finest in artistic and cultural programs. In the William Bennett Bizzell Memorial Library — one of the Southwest ' s finest — we can rub shoulders w ith tiie wisdom of the world ' s past and present, and learn to Io e, respect and enjoy good books. Everywhere on the campus we lind new chances to take part in musical, artistic and dramatic activities. An l for those in which we do not choose to participate, there are programs and ex- hibits to be enjoyed. An annual Celebrity Series brings top musi- cal artists each year, and a Public Lecture Series is one of several channels through which we receive a succession of speakers from among the nation ' s finest scholars and authorities.

The services and influences of our schools and colleges extend beyond the cam- pus edge, beyond Oklahoma boundaries, be- yond the country ' s border. From the nations of the world, from the corners of the earth, scores of students gather to mingle and stud with Oklahoma ' s own. In our International Club and in our International House, in classes and in leisure time, we exchange friend- ships and understanding.
