OPPORlUniTIES Citizenship, in the sense we know it, carries many responsibilities. It implies also: opportunities. The opportunities we find in our University State are manifold. They are opportunities to prepare our- selves for full citizenship, happy citizenship, intelli- gent citizenship in Oklahoma, the United States and the world. Here we pick the wa ' of future life which matches best our interests and our talents. Here we choose among hundreds of path s to learn- ing and, having made our choices, find new vistas of knowledge, new beauties of education, with every step we take along the way. The sciences, the fine arts, the liberal arts all are at our disposal here, waiting for the touchstones of questing minds. The professions open their gates to us — law, medicine, engineering, education, pharmacy. Business ' s many branches beckon. If we wish to search further into the areas we like best, there are wonderful oppor- tunities to carry study forward into the forefront of many fields, with graduate work under scholarly experts.
