SIGMA NU Sigma Nu was founded nationally at Virginia Military Institute in 1869, and the local chapter was established in 1888. The white rose is the flower of Sigma Nu, and the national colors are black, white and gold. Sigma Nu publishes quarterly its official magazine, entitled The Delta.
