No matter how busy his days, how crowded his moments, he alwavs has time for the student with a troubled mind and sends her on her way rejoicing. His is a herculean task, burdened with responsibilities and wearisome details. For his presence the world is a finer place in which to live, and those who seek his advice and counsel are the happier and the wiser for it. A great believer in youth and the ability of young people to learn by doing and therefore fight and win their own battles, he is pre-eminently fitted for the position to which he has been appointed. He is believed by students and admired by faculty and friends.
