Xcal Brnoiiic and Jcii daudct with C ' uach Smith. All ii lis lieic at Charlotte College cannot sa enough in praise ot the wonderful job the 1955 Owls did on the haskethall court. Few people realize how er dillerent basketball at Charlotte College is trom basketball pkned b larger col- leges. Most ol our basketball players work all day and then attend classes in the evening. After class the ha e at least a two-hour s|iirited prac- tice session and then go home and study for the ne.xt day ' s classes. Eyen with this strenuous schedule, most of the pla ers maintain a high scholastic axeraye. B A S K E B riic iiRsr ii T jerr Ciaudet, . cal Broome, Bea llinso Ro Warren, CnjUciiii |ohn Kilgo. Under the inspiring tutelage of Coach Buddy Smith, the Charlotte College Owls of 1955 had an excellent season. All of their games were either won or lost b ' xerv close margins. To single out an one pla er is impossible because e er thing which was accom|)lished b the team was due to team eflort. Charlotte College is proud of and grateful to its team and its coach. We hope that next year ' s Owls will show the spirit and the will which have characterized the 19S5 Owls. s ' n ! i Tt fipp- U n 1 srea tared . . . . SPONSORS In. Jonaid . I aij for DoNM.D i .
