It gives you an edge on the other students in areas such as management, organization, and leadership. It pays the contract and scholarship student $100.00 a month during your junior and senior years. It also allows a student to earn a commission as an Army Second Lieutenant at the same time he or she earns a college degree. ARMY ROTC . . . the more you look at it, the better it looks. Right now you may think Army ROTC will look small on your resume. But a lot of employers don ' t think so. Women are now allowed to take Army ROTC for college credit at Florence State University. Editor- in -chief Butch Marlar Gerald Poole Associate Editor STAFF 431 With the publishing of this book the name of this institu- tion is put to rest. It is not with a bit of sniffles that we bid adeau to F.S.U. and close a chapter on the century of pur- ple and gold suffered under this banner. UNA But already it is time to think of new worlds and things that we are unaccustomed to see at this moment. It is for the University of North Alabama to feed the lion lead the roar of an ex iting new century. m
