PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE We are experiencing another memorable year at Western Montano College with an all-time high in enrollment which exceeds the 1000 mark. This year also marks the dedication of our library and the ground breaking for our faculty office-classroom building. This is also the year when formal request was made to the Board of Regents for approval of a liberal arts degree at Western. I consider it a privilege to be a part of this 1970 Chinook. It is a worthy historical document of the 1969-70 school year. Its pages provide sentimental reminders of this memorable year. 8 JAMES E. SHORT
