CHANCELLOR Dr. Richard Drake, Acting Chancellor, came to the University in July of 1955 as Vice-President in charge of academic and faculty affairs. In his new post as Acting Chancellor, he has cemented his posi- tion in the minds of student and faculty alike, as an extremely efficient administrator. His quiet and friendly manner have gained him the respect of students, faculty, and community. It is with great pride that We commend Dr. Drake for a job well done under very trying conditions.
