Joan Anderson arrives early in the afternoon of October 17 to witness the fun . . . the egg-on-the-spoon relay proved too much for some of the hardy athletes . . . tired sports enthusiasts had chance to relax with barbequed beef sandwiches and all the trimmings around roaring bonfires . . .
