If they won certain games, like this one in which students tied buckets around their waists and attempted to use their hips to get the tennis ball inside of the bucket, they got to go in the Blizzard-o-Bucks machine and grab as much money as possible.

exhibit great independence in thought and action while embracing tradition and change by Willette Y.Thomas From unloading the car on move-in day as a freshman to packing up everything for graduation as a senior, campus life is the creme-filled center to the college experience. Campus life is everything from concerts in the Grove during Welcome Week to enjoying food and entertainment during the Double Decker Arts Festival. Friendships are gained from visits at the oxygen bar during Homecoming Week and strengthened through adventurous road trips. Traditions are dear to our hearts as students. From buying a fresh baked pizza roll or chicken-on-a-stick at two o ' clock in the morning to getting the best view of the Walk of Champions at the Red and Blue game, these are things to look forward to. Graving is one tradition that no one can pass up. Setting up a tent at five in the morning is well worth the work when you ' re able to eat Abner ' s chicken strips with family and friends. Nothing beats traditions. Students can venture around the Square or take part in a night at Hooligans. But campus life is more than the university area. By taking time out of their busy schedules to volunteer services and hold jobs, students become more than just faces in the crowd to the Oxford community. Every student leaves the University with an experience, a memory or a unique story to tell. That is why your Ole Miss experience is like no other. campus life 1?
