COLLEGE REPUBLICANS College Republicans is an educational political student organization. Its primary purpose is to educate its members and the students of Ole Miss about the functions of political offices and the beliefs of the Republican party. In the fall semester of 1995 alone we had Gov. Fordice. Lt. Gov. Briggs. Barbarra Blanton. Walter Michel, Bill Jordan, Charlie Hull, and Ryan Head speak to our members, all of whom are state wide candidates for public offices in 1995. In 1996 we anticipate Sen. Lott. Sen Cochran, and II, S. Rep. Wickers appearance at a CR meeting. The only requirement to being a CR member is you must be a student of Ole Miss and pay your membership fee. The DPMA Student program is designed for students planning careers in information systems or related lields. Intended to complement classroom studies. DPMA provides students willi opportunities to participate in the information processing toTiimunity and to explore various career opportunities. The Ole Miss DPMA chapter is one of the most active Business School student organizations with guest speakers at monthly meetings representing companies such as IBM, Federal Express, BellSouth, Andersen Consulting, Deposit Guaranty, and University Medical Center. DPMA currently takes part with fund-raisers, video teleconferences, infoiinallon systems facility tours, student conference trips, and the latest computer technology workshops. EIVGINEERirVG STUDENT BODY The Engineering Student Body serves as a liaison between tlie Dean and tlie students of tlie Scliool of Engineering. The elected officers along with the administrative heads of each professional society in the School of Engineering form the Executive Council which advises the Dean on Student related issues. The Executive Council also oversees the Engineering School Honor Council. WESLEY FOUNDATIOIV The Wesley Foundation, a Campus Ministry for the United Methodist Church, holds two weekly meetings: Tuesday nights, free meals at 6:30 p.m. and worship at 7 p.m: Thursday nights, worship at 6 p.m. Worship is an exciting time for students to sing together, pray together, encounter scripture, and be refreshed by God ' s love and grace. Wesley ministers to the needs of students through accountability groups, retreats, service projects, and Christian fellowship. All Wesley activities are held at the Student Center at 425 W.
