1992 Mississippi Miss Hospitality Leigh Lucas s years July to ditioi: ' stop Qgersas This year ' s Mississippi Miss Hospitality is Leigh Lucas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Van Lucas of Newton. Leigh is a Senior majoring in Fine Arts with an emphasis m Education. She has been involved in many diverse activities here at Ole Miss. Leigh is currently serving as ODK President, Lambda Sigma Secretary and Social Chairman for Chi Omega soronty. She is also a member of Mortar Board, Order of Omega, RUF, University Standing Committees, UM Ambassadors, ASB and SPB Committees. .,tMk %: Denise Maness This year ' s Miss Ole Miss is Denise Maness, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Maness of Jackson, MS. Denise, a History major with a minor in Business, always has a smile on her face for everyone she meets. She has been involved in UM Ambassadors, intramural sports, Homecoming Committee, SPB Com- mittees, Lambda Sigma, ODK, Mortar Board, Phi Alpha Theta History Honorary, College Republicans, Wall Street South, Senior Class Committee, and RUF. Denise has also been a Sigma Chi little sister, a ' 90 Bat Girl, an ASB Vice-Presidential Assistant, Director of Stu- dent Development and Director of School Spirit for the ASB Cabinet, Social Chairman for Order of Omega, Student Representative mmm mmmm Because of her involvement and service to the University, Denise was an easy choice for 1992 Miss Ole Miss. Jason Garner ' »ui Colonel Reb for 1992 is Jason Garner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gamer of Jackson, MS. Jason, a Marketing major, has been an out- standing leader during his past four years here at Ole Miss. He has been a member of various organizations: Lambda Sigma, SPB Commit- tees, Phi Gamma Nu business fraternity, Om- icron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, MS Gov- ernmental Affairs Committee, Standing Committee on Academic Affairs, UM Ambas- sadors, and College Republicans. Jason has served as an officer of Sigma Chi fraternity, Vice-President of Order of Omega, Vice- President of Inter-Fraternity Council, Vice- President of Alpha Lambda Delta, and Vice- Chairman of the ASB Finance Committee. Ja- son has also been very active in Reformed University Fellowship and has spent two sum- mers working at Alpine Camp for boys. It is easy to see why Jason was chosen as this year ' s Colonel Reb.
