1992 Miss University I Lenena Holder 80 Lenena Holder, the daughter of Mackie and Janice Holder of BooneviUe, MS is this year ' s reigning Miss University. The pageant was held last March so that she could go on in July to represent Ole Miss in the Miss Mississippi pageant. During the Miss Mississippi competition, Lenena won her talent division and received a scholarship. She also placed in the pageant ' s top ten. Lenena is a Senior majoring in Music and is a member of the Ole Miss Concert Singers as well as being involved with the Ole Miss Opera. FEATURES II ' niis Presi( meml Ambi sissip

1992-93 MISS BLACK AND GOLD I I Debbie McCain Debbie McCain was crowned this year ' s Miss Black and Gold. She is the daughter of Charles and Ernestine McCain of Batesville, MS. Debbie is a Junior majoring in English and a member of Risque Business, a theatrical drug awareness group here on campus. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., sponsors the Miss Black and Gold pageant and the winner also serves as the fraternity ' s Sweetheart. Debbie is now eligible to compete i n a national pageant that is a preliminary for the Miss Mississippi pageant. The proceeds from the Miss Black and Gold pageant are donated to the March of Dimes. Leigh is a Senior majoring in Fine Arts with an emphasis m Education. She has been involved in many diverse activities here at Ole Miss. Leigh is currently serving as ODK President, Lambda Sigma Secretary and Social Chairman for Chi Omega soronty.
