Student Alumni Council I The SAC, sponsored by the Ole Miss Alumni Association, is comprised of students who represent classes, academ- ic departments, campus organizations, and geographical districts. The SAC acts as the " bridge " between the university ' s students and alumni. One of the prin- ciple goals of the council is to educate these representatives about the alumni program and all its functions. Through the SAC, students discover opportuni- ties the association has to offer. Wesley Foundation The Wesley Foundation, Campus Ministry of the United Methodist Church, holds worship on Tuesday Nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center located on Fraternity Row in front of CM. " Tad " Smith Coliseum. Each week there is a free homecooked meal and then an hour worship experience. This is a fun and exciting time to encounter God ' s love and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Wesley ministers to the needs of students through weekly discipleship groups, semester retreats. Christian fellowship on Thursday nights, and several service projects during the year. This is an inclusive ministry — all students are invited and welcomed. The Campus Min- ister, Rev. Wade Holland, is always available for counsel- ing and assistance. It originated with a small group of students who desired to have a regular weekly service on campus. The weekly service consists of topical discussions led by students. Bible study, guest speakers, and fun-filled activities dealing with spiritual themes. Our goal is to provide not only fellowship for Christians but evangelical outreach to the University and Oxford community at large.
