156 Involvement . . . Involvement Involvement. Here are our politicos. They are hard workers at sometimes thankless jobs. These clubs provide profes- sional experience as well as a lot of resume building. Lisa Parker has done close to the impossible by arranging this huge section. Paul Maxwell. Claire Skaggs and Marie Harmon were her assistants. hut. 330 On the lighter side, the 1983 OLE MISS has a little fun with some organizations and events of this year. Greeks have created our party image. Ole Miss is regarded as somewhat of a phenomenon in the Greek world. With nearly 50% of the campus par- ticipating. these clubs capture more national awards than almost any other university. Randy Jackson edited this section with the help of Marilyn Hammons and Barbara Bowen. 342 This is your chance to see yourself. If you didn ' t have your picture made, this is your chance to curse yourself. Your children will laugh at this picture twenty years from now. Compiling more than 4.000 pictures is no easy task; just ask Bettina Neumaier and her assistant Dawn Bump. 288 Here we have the cream of the crop. Ole Miss presents its best scholastically. athletically and professionally. With thousands of names and titles to collect. Lil McKinnon and Harry Park have done an excellent job. even adding a trivia box for a little spice. Craig Miller gave them much needed assistance. 418 Here is a breath of fresh air in yearbook graphics. Pointing toward the future, Assistant Editor Newell Turner has put together a new look for this year ' s closing; a very suitable ending for our theme of change. Contents 3
