its cover may indicate, the 1967 version of the OLE MISS has thrown its shackles and has determined to depict life at the University in a brighter, more tive way than ever before. Accepting the premise that the most-read part of the book is the opening section, we have made it larger and more colorful than in years past. The copy and the black and white pictures are arranged in loose chronological order, each two-page spread being devoted to one general topic. Between each of these narrative spreads is a mural-sized color photograph, either representing some phase of life here or depicting a familiar campus scene. The remainder of the OLE MISS has been laid out and presented along more tional and familiar lines. We have, however, spruced up things a bit here and there. The reader will note, for example, the two-page spread of the fraternity sweethearts at the ning of the Greek section. We have had some hectic days and tight moments at the annual office these past months, but all things considered, it ' s been an enjoyable year for the staff of the 1967 OLE MISS.
