The Governor of Mississippi The Honorable Hugh L. White Governor Hugh L. White is a true son of Ole Miss. While at: the University as a student, he was a m ember of the Rebel Football squad. Now he is still a staunch sup- porter of Ole Miss in every phase of the University ' s educational program. He is a loyal fan of the Ole Miss Rebel football team. Governor White realizes the need for a well-rounded development of the state, and, as governor, he has endeavored to promote our state in every phase of development edu- cational, industrial, agricultural, recreational, and political. To Governor White we owe a deep appreciation for his efforts toward the building of a greater Ole Miss. 22
