Dr. Butts, a widely lcnown scholar and administrator, heading the administration for the sixth consecutive year, has gained the admiration of the student body by fair and forthright action and high integrity. Dr. Alfred Hume, as Chancellor Emeritus, still faithfully serves Ole Miss as he did for many years as its Chancellor. A thorough gentleman, and an outstanding scholar in mathematics, Dr. Hume is one of Ole Miss' most respected men. Working in collaboration with these men are: 39 Ph.D.'s, 24 M.A.'s, 5 M.S.'s, 10 LL.B.,s, 9 B.S.'s 1 BE., 1 LL.D., Z0 M.D.'s, l M.E., 2 M.M.'s, 8 B.A.'s, 1 B.M.E., 3 M.B.A.,s, 1 S.j.D., 2 LL.M.'s, 1 C.P.A., 3 Sc.D.'s, 1 Opth.D., 3 B.S.S.'s, 1 Ph.B., 3 misanthropes, l dogmatic muliebrity, 4 1-4 ideal- ists, 48 lost umbrellas, and tons of erudition. l24l
