C. Trotter. Never, too, have Qle Miss students of past years been privileged as are those of the present day in enjoying the friendship and person- ality of so fine a campus figure as Mr. Chuck Though a busy man, he always manifests a sincere interest in campus activities, by mingling with the students, he is known and cherished by them all. . . . And so as an expression of our esteem, and in but a small way showing our gratitude for all which he has added to these years at Qle Miss-that friendli- ness, that sparkling spirit, that unforgettable laugh, that genuine interest in us all-we dedicate this volume to Mr. Chuck Trotter.

A Few universities are fortunate enough to have as their leader a man who possesses a personality which com- bines foresight, intellect, progressiveness, and an im- peccable character as does Chancellor Butts. During his administration at the University, his every thought and move have been directed toward the improvement of the school. Distance is of no concern to Dr. Butts if the trip promises to be one advantageous to his school, and even, though his journeys are many, the multitud- inous duties incident to his position are always dealt with promptly and efliciently.
