He, like many Americans today, is an addict . . . a video game junkie! The video craze has been sweeping the campus the bright lights and cosmic sounds luring multitudes to its perils. Countless U-M students plug quarter after quarter into the machines that transform them into battlestar commanders or race car drivers. Victims of the addiction are not all students by any means. Businessmen, professors, T.A.s and especially bar em- ployees are all subject to the phenom- enal craze. The plathora of video games is as unique as the people who play them. For home-oriented addicts, video games can be reproduced in miniature. One of the more popu- lar was 5 mon for people with musical memory.
