Born in 1912, he received his A.B. degree in 1936 from Southwestern fOkla.j Teachers College, his LL.B. in 1935 from the University of Oklahoma, and his J.S.D. in 1938 from Yale University. Mr. Million is co-editor of Walsh, Niles Ka Million, Cases on Property, 12d ed. 1951, 19575, was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1935 and was a Senior Attorney, U.S. Department of Justice, 1943-46. Mr. Million is married and has six children. JACKSON Visiting Associate Professor of Law Mr. Jackson received his A.B, from Princeton in 1954 and attended the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He served in the United States Army Counter-Intelligence Corps 1954-56. He received his J. D. from Michigan in 1959 and practiced law in Milwuakee 1959-61. He has been a member of the Faculty of Law at the University of California since 1961. He is married and has one daughter. 32 Professor of Law Born in 1917 , Mr. Wright received his A.B.degree in 1939 and LL.B. in 1941 from the University of Oklahoma, and LL.M. in 1942 from the University of Michigan. He was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 1941. He came to the University of Michigan Law School in 1946. He teaches Corporate and Partner- ship Tax Affairs, Federal Income and Estate and Gift Taxes, and Tax Considerations Affecting Foreign Trade and Investments. He was in the United States Armed Services from 1942 to 1946, and was a Law Member of the General Military Court in Austria from 1945 to 1946. He has frequently been a Consultant to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue and has written three books for the Internal Revenue Service. ROBERT J . HARRIS Associate Professor of Law Born in 1930, Mr. Harris received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 1953 and his LL.B. from Yale Law School in 1956. He was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1956 and practiced law there from 1957 to 1958. Hewas an assistant professor at George Washington University Law School during the year 1958-59. He was an assistant professor at the University of Michigan Law School from 1959 to 1962 and has been an associate professor here since 1962. His subjects are Contracts and Race Relations Seminar. Pro- fessor Harris is married, has one son, and is a sailing enthusiast when time permits.

JAY J. LEVIT Instructor in Law Born in 1934, Mr. Levit received his A.B. from Western Reserve University in 19555 his LL.B. from University of Richmond Law School in 19585 his LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 1959. He was in association with a law firm in Richmond, Virginia from 1959-60 during which time he also completed his active duty military obligation as a medical corpsman trainee in the U.S. Army. From 1960-64 he was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice specializing primarily in gov- ernment contract litigation both on trial and appellate levels in the U.S. Court of Claims. He is married and has one son. Mr. Levit is an instructor in Problems and Re- search at the Law School. ev tx WILLIAM H. PAINTER Visiting Professor of Law Born in 1927, Mr. Painter received his A.B. from Princeton University in 1950. After a year of graduate work in Philosophy at Princeton he entered the Harvard Law School, where he received his LL.B. in 1954. He practiced in New York City from 1954 until 1958 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1955. In 1958 he was appointed a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Law School and, in 1959, he joined the faculty of the Villanova School of Law outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has concentrated in Corporate law and Federal Income Taxa- tion. He also currently teaches a seminar in Financial Reorganization of Corporations. He is married and has two children. -,.. - 2-V, lm. 4 ,IW I I ia 4 JACK H. FRIEDENTHAL Visiting Associate Professor of Law Mr. Friedenthal was born in 1931, received his A.B. from Stanford in 1953 and LL.B. from Harvard in 1958. He was an Assistant Professor of Law at Stanford from 1958-61, Associate Professor from 1961-64 and now is a full Professor. He is currently teaching Pleading and Joinder and Evidence at Michigan. He is also a member of the California Bar Associationg is married and has two children.
