IOANNE SUTTON Phi chapter's golden anniversary was celebrated at a formal dinner which began the busy social year. Other social events were the post ball game coffee hours, the winter and spring formals and a bullet din- ner. Six girls were members of Highlanders. Ellie Fleming was president of Seals, Prudy Meder was secretary and six other girls were members. Ann Baxter was chairman of the UWA Profile preview committee. Irene Livingston was also on the committee. Ian Levsen served on Union board, and Ieanine Hilton, Sally Gill and Carol Crawford were on Union board subcommittees. Ellie Fleming, Io Sutton and Carol New- man were active on WRA council, Ian Lev- sen served as treasurer of the Collegiate Chamber of Commerce, and Mary lane Baker was a guest editor on the Madem- oiselle College board. Scholarship, activities and social events played an important role in Tri-Deltais successful year. The Tri-Delts celebrated their Golden anniversary with a banquet at the Union. ' ' f

ANN DATESMAN This year Delta Gamma captured beauty honors when Sue Rutledge was chosen Miss Perfect Profile and Iudy McLaren reigned over Homecoming activities as Dolphin queen. Activities ranked high too this year for Delta Gamma. The DGBS had 14 girls marching with the Scottish Highlanders, and Connie McClary, Io Barlow and Ma- rion Fetzer participated in Seals. Margie Hahn and Helen Stoltz were tapped for Mortar board and served as president and vice-president respectively of YWCA. Nan Borreson was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Gamma Alpha Chi. Margie Hahn was president of GAX. Mary Hauer Milani served on the Central Party com- mittee and was Panhellenic treasurer. Ma- donna McGuire vvas Iunior Panhellenic president, and Catherine Griflith was a member of Union board. Mary Goen's fa- ther, Dr. Donald Goen, was chosen SUI Dad of the Year for Dadis day. Delta Gamma's social activities were highlighted by Sunday evening parties with chili suppers and hayrack rides and Christmas and spring formals. just five more minutes ,til Gobel goes on.
