For those wanting to browse around there is the music room. the library and television lounges, For those who are a littlc more energetic there are ping pong tables, and a juke box in the River room for dancing.

Many campus committees and clubs meet in the conference rooms and this familiar place is also the home of the YWCA and YMCA. When both the orchestra and chorus give their concerts the Un- ion is thc place. Alumni were espe- cially welcomed to the Union over Dad's Day and Mother's Day weekends and during Homecom- ing. Many of the campus guests appear in the main lounge of the Union when they visit SUI. But even more memorable to the stu- dents are the post-ballgame parties and big dances and formals held at this most well-known campus build-A mg.
